65th anniversary of the landings at Normandy: D-day

So today is the 65th anniversary of the landings at Normandy. I watched the BBC broadcast today and have great respect for all that have fought and all that have died in WW2. A few years ago I went on vacation to Normandy and saw the more than 9000 white crosses of fallen U.S. soldiers [...]
