A few years ago I wanted to play a GPS (Global Positioning System) game. Unfortunately you had to have a group of people to play a GPS game and most of my friends at the time were not that adventurous

The folks over at Kitty Code games have granted me my wish and developed an iPhone app called Traveler’s Quest that enables you to go treasure hunting in the real world using GPS!

You find yourself taking detours just to get a treasure! Even for folks that do not travel much this game is very fun and addictive. Will you be the first to reach the location or will someone else beat you to it? Will your treasure be buried for days and days, collecting gold, before anyone finds it?

The treasures are digital ones of course because it would not be feasible to bury all those treasures across the world. Even so, the game is still very fun to play because you will have to complete collections and gather achievements to get to the top of the leader boards!

Oh and it not only gives you something to pass time but it will also get your lazy bum off that couch and go outside discovering new places. I started to play this game a few days ago and my enthusiasm was that convincing that my parents even offered to bring me to one of the treasures haha! (And no, I did not take them up on their offer. It is my responsibility to gather treasures, by public transport, bike or walking )

Anyways, the game could still use a lot of new treasure hunters, especially in my area (Netherlands) to make it even more competitive and fun so go! start your adventure!

You do not have an excuse to not download this app for your iPhone since it is free through the 18th of April (which is tax day in the USA)
